Professor Agnes Nairn is Chair of Marketing, School of Economics, Finance and Management at the University of Bristol.
Prior to taking up this post she was Dean of the London Post Graduate Campus of Hult International Business School. She is a researcher, writer, consultant and speaker on issues related to marketing, ethics and the wellbeing of children and young people – issues about which she is passionate. She is particularly keen that the latest research is used to inform policy decisions.
Her work has won a number of awards and is widely published in books, academic journal articles and policy reports. Agnes is a frequent media commentator on the ethics of marketing to children.
She has served on a number of government panels on issues related to children, marketing and health and as an expert adviser to the United Nations on advertising and cultural rights.
Agnes holds visiting Professorships at EM-Lyon Business School in France and University of Edinburgh Business School, is on the Strategic Advisory Board for the Marketing Department at Copenhagen Business School and is currently acting as Special Advisor to the House of Lord's Communication Committee for an Inquiry into the future of the advertising industry.

Agnes has taught thousands of MBA and Masters students at many international institutions and has won several teaching awards.
