Professor Agnes Nairn is a researcher, writer, consultant and speaker on issues related to marketing, ethics and the wellbeing of children and young people – issues about which she is passionate. She is particularly keen that the latest research is used to inform policy decisions.
Her work has won a number of awards and is widely published in books, academic journal articles and policy reports. Agnes is a frequent media commentator on the ethics of marketing to children. She lives between Bath, UK and Lyon in France but travels widely.
She has served on a number of government panels on issues related to children, marketing and health and is currently working with the United Nations on advertising and cultural rights.
Agnes currently holds the post of Professor of Marketing at EM-Lyon Business School in France. She has also been elected as Associate to the University of Edinburgh Business School, as a Visiting Professor at the Department of Social and Policy Science, University of Bath and Visiting Research Fellow at the School of Management, University of Bath.
Agnes has taught thousands of MBA and Masters students at many international institutions and currently teaches on the Hult International Business School MBA in London where last year she was named Professor of the Year.
